For it's basic intended use of screen capture it's everything I need.Ĭomments: It has been a trainwreck of an experience, but given that it has many of the resources that I need to perform my job that other capturing software does not I'm stuck with it. I'd just like to easily customize things for personal preference. What they have is functional and easy to use. I'd like a little more options for adding arrows, call-outs, and text post-capture. The captures are high quality and easy to retrieve, edit, share. I use it for customer support, training, and providing feedback to other software vendors. Note: not a monthly subscription but an annual fee. I've been using Snagit for at least 10 years and am on the inexpensive annual maintenance plan where I get all updates and latest version. I also have their other software Camtasia and the two work seamlessly. I've been a constant user for well over 10 years. I also use it to communicate with graphic designers and tech support for other apps. I use it to create how-to video and handouts for customer training and support.
